We have incorporated Do Follow, Keyword Luv, Comment Luv, and Top Commenter’s plugins into this blog. This is a system that helps all of us. Every site needs backlinks to their site as well as content. These Wordpress plugins accomplish both of these things. The backlinks are one way links which are the very best kind. That’s a very cool thing!
As a “Do Follow” blog the link that you leave in your comment will allow Google to track this link back to your site giving your site some of that much coveted “link love.”
The Keyword Luv plugin will allow you to leave a comment along with a link to your site using your keywords. The format is yourname@yourkeywords.” For the very best results, don’t use the same keywords in your anchor text every time you post a comment. Change them up occasionally with other targeted keywords to your site. Also, avoid just linking back to your homepage. For the best results you should deep link to all your internal pages as well. This could make a big difference in gaining top positions in Google.
A word of caution here. All comments will need to be approved. If you offer a quality comment that pertains to the subject matter of the blog your comment will be approved and you will receive a backlink to your site. However, any comment that is only a few words like, “great post,” will be deleted.
It takes only a couple of minutes to add a quality post and you will be rewarded with a one way link to your site to help your search engine ranking. I think it’s worth it, don’t you?
The Comment Luv plugin is equally awesome for getting more traffic to your blog. When you leave a comment on a blog like this one that has the Comment Luv plugin installed and you make sure the checkbox is checked, Comment Luv will insert a link to your most recent post from your blog and add it to your comment. Other commenter’s will see your link and perhaps click on it to visit your blog bringing you more traffic. This is a super easy and cost free way to gain more visitors to your blog. The Top Commenter’s plugin for Wordpress allows you to see from your Wordpress dashboard who the top commenter’s are on your blog. As with Keyword Luv, these comments can be edited or deleted from your Wordpress blog’s dashboard. It’s nice to know who those folks are that support your blog with their comments and return visits.
